Quality Auditor

Schedule:

Position Summary:

The Quality Auditor is responsible for assisting the Quality department in auditing windows and doors on our production lines and providing immediate feedback on any quality issues to supervisors.  This position will aid in training the other associates on Quality Standards.  Quality Auditors will assist in the development and implementation of improvement ideas. 

Key Responsibilities:      

  • Audit windows/doors and record any quality issues.
  • Assist in training Production Associates to ensure all products produced are of the highest quality.
  • Maintain proper paperwork and ensure the accurate/timely documentation of departmental data.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS – Production Associates are required to stand or walk on a concrete floor surface for up to a ten-hour shift.  Production must be able to perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motions, including reaching above the shoulders. Associates must also be able to bend, stoop, and turn.

  • Perform basic machinist skills using a vertical mill and a lathe.
  • Interpret blueprints and part drawing to perform maintenance task.
