Job Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist serves a critical role within our Human Resources Operations teams.  As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create a strong pool of candidates for our organization’s current and future hiring needs by sourcing candidates throughout various channels.  
 
This position has the possibility to be based out of either Warroad or Fargo.
    
Major Roles and Responsibilities:
Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing and recruiting needs. Organize and attend career fairs and recruitment events. Responsible for advertising recruitment needs and sourcing candidates through various channels, including social media. Partner with Operation Leadership to forecast hiring needs by department. Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates. Assist with the preparation of job descriptions for various roles in the organization. Evaluate applicant qualifications by partnering with hiring managers to interview applicants, analyze applicant responses, verify references, and compare qualifications to the position requirements. Assist with Company branding and marketing. Improve effectiveness of the talent acquisition procedures by recommending new practices. Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation and enforcing regulations with others involved in the recruitment process.
  
Qualifications (Education & Experience):
A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Experience in a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruitment position or similar role preferred. Professional certification is strongly preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills (especially with MS Office Suite – Outlook, Word, and Excel). Ability to work well independently and as a team member. Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information. Possess a keen understanding of the differences of various roles in the organization.
